Bulk Mailer

Easy To Learn and Easy To Use

Copy Solutions added bulk mailing to their list of printing services in 1997. Jim Matthews, owner of the Fort Wayne, Indiana, print store, purchased AccuZIP mailing software. The program helped him with his mailing process, but also caused some difficulties. That's why, when he found Satori Software in 2003, he purchased the new Bulk Mailer 5 software package.

"I needed a program that was easier to operate. With Bulk Mailer 5, I don't always have to be the one to use it." Jim says, explaining that he often trains his employees to do the mailing tasks. "[Bulk Mailer 5] is easier to understand, and you don't have to be the most computer literate to use it. The last program had too many idiosyncrasies and it made it hard to train someone."

Copy Solutions processes about 10 mailings per month including two a week for one company and is expecting to add more customers now that they've started using Bulk Mailer 5. The size of the mailings range between 200 and 2,500 pieces.

In addition to its ease of use, Jim also specifically praises Bulk Mailer 5 for its label editor and printing features.

"The label feature is much easier in Bulk Mailer 5. Labels print correctly with the names and the bulk mail permit always printing in the right place," Jim says. "It always took me a lot longer to print [with AccuZIP] and I could never quite get the labels to print right."

Jim also speaks highly of the exporting function, which enables him to do a presorted mail merge in Microsoft Word.

Finally, Jim also likes how Bulk Mailer 5 simplifies repetitive processes through the use of wizards and templates. "It's easy to run the wizards and create templates. That way, I don't have to re-type information every time."
