Technical Support Engineer

Position Overview

Due to explosive growth, Satori needs additional engineers to support our stand-alone desktop product and our high end custom integration solutions. This front line support position provides technical knowledge as well as postal regulation information to our growing customer base. This fast-paced, demanding environment requires multi-tasking and a detail-oriented personality. An even disposition with great communication skills is essential, along with the ability to describe complex topics in a clear and concise manner. A computer science background is preferred, and a strong technical background is required. Must be adept at working in a team environment.

Systems Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to serve as a member of the technical infrastructure team within the greater Dev Ops team supporting all of Satori Software’s SaaS products.  The team is constantly enhancing and scaling our SaaS environments and products to meet rapidly expanding adoption and usage of our data solutions.  This critical new role will primarily be responsible for the technical support and management of our production environments, including driving deployments and building processes.

The ideal candidate has passion for and experience with hosted infrastructure solutions, managing and administering high-availability SaaS systems, and solving complex technical problems.

Helpdesk Administrator

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer end-user workstations and supports end-user activities utilizing TCP/IP on a primarily Microsoft Windows-based local area network (LAN)

  • Investigate user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; tests and implements solutions

  • Install, configure, and maintains personal computers, Windows networks, Apple workstations, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices and systems. Adds or upgrades and configures disk drives, printers and related equipment. Perform and/or oversee software and application installation and upgrades

  • Maintain site licenses for departments/organization

  • Plan and implement network security, including maintaining firewalls, configuring VPN, managing host security, file permissions, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users

  • Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties

  • Develop and conduct training for system users on operating systems and other applications, and assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems

  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network

  • Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource

  • Provide computer orientation to new and existing company staff.
